Today I am truly lost. I am devastated and in disbelief. My heart is broken beyond repair; there are no words to truly describe this feeling. My world has ended. On Monday, February 13th 2017 at 9:15 am the love of my life, my soulmate, and the greatest person to ever come into my life, Leslie Steinhoff, passed away.
Leslie is loved by all who ever met her, and she made an enormous impact on the community through nursing, music, and many other avenues. Leslie and I were planning to be married next year. We have not been apart from each other since the day we met.
Leslie is the most beautiful, intelligent, caring, and thoughtful person I have ever met. She amazed me every day. I truly woke up every day thankful that she loved me unconditionally and was with me. I tried every day to show her that she was my everything. She made me a better person and was my guiding light. She believed in me at all times. She was unwavering in her love and support.
Leslie was always positive, hopeful and kind. She was a loving mother and provider to her daughter, Mary, who is a successful student with a 4.0 GPA. Leslie worked at many hospitals as an ICU nurse helping and touching many lives, including those of her co-workers. She was extremely excited to be back at Grady Memorial Hospital working in the ICU Burn unit. She was loved and respected by all her co-workers. She also worked in the music community as a record label owner and manager. She was incredibly talented and had a beautiful voice. She was an all-state honors choral vocalist at the collegiate level. She was one credit away from her Master’s Degree in Nursing. She was talented in so many ways it is hard to list them all. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Leslie is and how much she and I meant to each other. If there is such a thing as a soulmate and someone you are destined for, Leslie is and was truly mine. She is the greatest thing to ever happen to me and is my entire world. She is incredibly beautiful inside and out. She would light up a room just by walking into it.

Know My Name
Look Over Yonder Wall
Don't Let Me Go
Not worth another song
Bird in a cage
The Night Is Calling
Love In Vain
For a few dollars more
Silence of my day
On this album, Marty is establishing himself as a rising star and triple threat- virtuoso guitarist, songwriter extraordinaire, and soulful vocalist- to present his fans with new indie-rock material infused with Blues, Pop, and guitar hero stylizations unlike anything he’s produced yet. Not all songwriters are great musicians, and not all musicians are great songwriters, but with “Know My Name,” Marty Manous brilliantly shows his audience that he is both.
“This album is fun and upbeat- I want to give my fans something they can sing along with and rock out to.” – Marty Manous
A-list drummer Sean O’Rourke (Sugarland, Derek Trucks, Aquarium Rescue Unit) and incredible bass guitarist Mark Wilson come together with Marty to create tracks that are unforgettable. Joe Morgan adds to the mix with organ and keys. Sketch Ellis (Machine Head, Big & Rich) returns as producer and sound engineer.
